We happily accept returns for unused and unworn items within 14 days (30 days for international orders) of the order date for a refund or store credit for all qualifying orders. Sale items, close-outs, and gift cards are final sale and non-refundable.
- All returns must be unused, unworn and brand new condition. All returns are inspected and returns that have signs of wear, including scuffs, smudges, scratches and odors (cologne,perfume,smoke, etc.) do not qualify and will not be accepted.
- Markus Dayan does not provide prepaid shipping labels; you will be responsible for covering the shipping costs to return.
- Custom letter pendants are not refundable. Once your custom letter pendant goes into production, there are no cancellations.
- Shipping fees are not refundable.
- Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO), Free Gifts: If you return an item that qualified for a BOGO or a free gift with purchase offer, you must return the BOGO or free gift item. If you do not return the BOGO item or free gift item you will be charged the retail price for the BOGO or free gift item.
- If you want to exchange within the return window for a different size or style, you can return the item for store credit and place a new order for the size or style that you desire. Store credit gift cards are non refundable once issued.
- There will be a 20% restocking fee for all refunds. There is no restocking fee for items returned for store credit.
- Once a return is approved, customers have thirty days to send back their purchase. After 30 days, the return will be cancelled and no refund will be issued.
Note: Please do not send your return to the address on your package. That is not our return address and will affect the processing of your return.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
1. Final Sale/Stock items are not refundable or exchangeable.
2. Personalized items with “engravings” and “photos”, such as rings, necklaces and bracelets, are non-refundable.
3. Special order items such as those with custom sizes and colors are not refundable.
4. Items without jewelry tag or that have been worn, damaged or altered are not refundable, and will be returned to the customer at their expense.
5. Items that were worn, or sent to you as Replacement/Exchange are not refundable.
Returns will be processed within 5 days upon receipt of your package. The refund will be issued to your original payment account or in the form of store credit as you requested.

* The standard shipping rate before discount will apply and is non-refundable. Although you may have enjoyed free or undervalued shipping, we do incur the original cost of shipping for every order. Therefore, we do not refund our original shipping cost.
MarkusDayan will reimburse customer $10 as the return shipping fee via store credit under the following circumstances.
1. Customer received the wrong item.
2. The item is broken, defective, or has an incorrect engraving. (For broken or defective items, customers must contact MarkusDayan within 48 hours of receiving their order.)
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
