How to maintain your jewelry?

Markus Dayan´s jewelry should last perfectly about 2 years if maintained appropriately. Please follow the instructions below to prolong the jewelry service life.

● Remove your jewelry at night - do not sleep with your plated jewelry on! Nightly perspiration and the extender rubbling against the skin will cause any metal finishes to dull over time.

● Store your jewelry in a dry place - Do not store your jewelry in the bathroom, as the consistent moisture and humidity will tarnish your jewelry. Keep your jewelry items in a place such as your bedrrom where proper ventilation and normal air conditions are present.

● Clean your items offen to maintainshine and remove the sweat and dirt that will accumulate with average wear. Use a lightly damp cloth, and gently wipe down your item, use a clean towel to dry. To clean chains and necklaces, hold the piece by the clasp, do not tup at he chain to avoid rupturing the clasp.

. Avoid all direct contact with perfume, cosmetics, detergent, etc. which may damage the surface of jewelry.

Avoid exposing your jewelry to extreme temperatures or to sudden fluctuations in temperature. The temperature should within 0 to 60℃.

● For jewelry that contains rhinestones, crystals, or stones wipe the item gently, do not rub. Make sure to be careful around the corners or prongs that can catch on to your towel and damgae or break loose one of your stones.

For extremely dirty jewelry, pour some warm water in a small bowl, and add some mild dishwashing soap. Dip a soft, lint-free cloth in the soapy water, and then gentlywipe the jewelry with the damp cloth until the piece is clean. When cleaning it, rub the item along its polish lines.
